Consumer Health Data Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026
This U.S. Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how Auxano Forever, located at 31228 36th Ave SW, Federal Way, WA 98023, handles consumer health data in the Auxano Forever Wellness app. It is separate from our general Privacy Policy and applies to data linked or reasonably linkable to a person that may identify their past, present, or future physical or mental health status.
1. Our role and this policy
Auxano Forever Wellness provides general wellness tools and is not a medical provider, health plan, or emergency service. This policy is designed for U.S. consumer health data requirements, including Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law, and applicable Connecticut requirements. It is not a statement that the app is a HIPAA-covered service.
2. Consumer health data we may collect
The exact data depends on the features you choose. We collect only data needed to provide the feature you request.
- Wellness profile and plan information, such as hair and skin preferences, fragrance sensitivity, allergies and food avoids, dietary preferences, movement level, goals, equipment, limitations, and optional wellness notes.
- Wellness activity records, including check-ins, mood, energy, sleep, water, movement, workouts, steps, meal plans, pantry items, routines, and optional notes.
- Medication, vitamin, and supplement information that you choose to enter, including names, times, dose notes, and completion records. This feature requests its own consent before you add an entry.
- Information an adult chooses to enter for family planning, such as a child's age range, food allergies, dietary preferences, interests, and venue-accessibility needs. Children cannot create accounts, and the app does not provide fields for a child's name, photo, date of birth, school, phone number, email address, or precise location.
- Messages you choose to send to the Wellness Assistant, support requests, and other optional free-text entries. Please do not use the assistant for emergencies or to provide information you do not want processed to answer your request.
- Limited location information for nearby searches. A city, ZIP code, or typed address is converted to a coarse approximate location. If you choose current-location search, your browser location is rounded and used only for that visit's nearby-search request. We do not store precise device GPS coordinates.
- Cycle tracker information stays in your browser's local storage on that device. Auxano does not receive, store, or sync cycle records to its servers unless that design changes and we give the required notice and obtain any required consent first.
3. Sources of consumer health data
We receive consumer health data directly from you when you create an account, complete onboarding, use a wellness tool, enter a record, request a recommendation, or contact us. We may also generate limited wellness outputs, such as a plan, recommendation, or reminder, from the information you provide. We do not buy consumer health data from data brokers.
4. How we use consumer health data
We use consumer health data to provide and personalize the features you request, including wellness plans, recipes, routines, product and ingredient suggestions, movement suggestions, reminders you enable, progress views, support, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. We do not use consumer health data to make medical decisions about you, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
5. Consent and your choices
We ask for affirmative consent at sign-up before creating a profile that can hold consumer health data. Separate consent is requested before you add medication, vitamin, or supplement information, and before an adult creates family preference records. You can decline optional questions, turn off reminders, revoke browser microphone or location permissions, delete entries, or stop using an optional feature. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already occurred, but we will stop the affected optional processing when required by applicable law.
6. How consumer health data is shared
We do not sell consumer health data. We share only the limited data needed to operate a feature you choose or when required by law.
- Base44, which provides the app's hosting, authentication, database, server functions, file storage, and app notifications.
- AI services made available through Base44 when you ask the Wellness Assistant or a generation feature for a response. The information in the request may be processed to answer it. Recipe-step images are generated from recipe content, not from your profile or health data.
- Stripe for subscriptions and purchases. Stripe receives payment and transaction information needed to process payment, not your wellness logs, cycle data, medication entries, or journal entries.
- Google Maps Platform and Google Places when you request nearby restaurants, grocery stores, hiking, family, or activity results. The request can include the location and search words needed to return results. Auxano does not use this feature to track you.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim when you ask us to look up a city, ZIP code, or typed address. It receives the place text needed to return a coarse location result.
- Your device or browser speech-recognition provider when you choose voice input. Auxano does not record or store the audio. If you separately choose an AI voice reply, only a short fixed confirmation phrase is sent for speech generation, not your transcript, health information, or location.
- Authorized Auxano personnel only when reasonably necessary for support, security, administration, or legal obligations. Journal, medication, and family records are designed to be unavailable in the ordinary admin view.
7. No sale, targeted advertising, or health-facility geofencing
Auxano does not sell consumer health data, use it for targeted advertising, or knowingly allow third parties to use it for targeted advertising. We do not create geofences around health care facilities or use location to identify, track, collect data from, or send notifications to people near those facilities. We currently have no affiliates with whom we share consumer health data.
8. Security
We use access controls, account authentication, row-level data restrictions, and other reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect consumer health data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention and deletion
We retain consumer health data while your account is active and as needed to provide requested features, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can download your available account data and delete your account from Profile & Settings. You can delete cycle data directly from the Cycle Tracker on the device where it is stored. For a request to delete, access, or confirm handling of consumer health data that is not available through the app, contact us using the details below.
10. Your consumer health data rights
Subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your consumer health data, access it, receive it in a portable form where feasible, delete it, withdraw consent, and appeal a decision about a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
- Use Profile & Settings to download available data or delete your account and associated in-app records.
- Email hello@auxanoforever.com with the subject line 'Consumer Health Data Request' and tell us whether you are requesting access, deletion, confirmation, correction, withdrawal of consent, or another privacy action. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
- If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing hello@auxanoforever.com with the subject line 'Consumer Health Data Appeal.' We will review the appeal and respond within the time required by applicable law. If an appeal is denied, we will provide information about any available right to contact the appropriate regulator.
11. Children
The app is for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect consumer health data directly from children. An adult may optionally enter limited family preferences for children in their care as described above. If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required by law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our data practices or applicable law change. We will post the updated version and date here. If we plan to collect, use, or share a new category of consumer health data, a new recipient, or a new purpose requiring consent, we will provide notice and obtain affirmative consent before doing so when required by law.
13. Contact
